We want every purchase to be clear before checkout and usable after checkout. If something goes wrong on our end, we will sort it out.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights that apply where you live.
1. Digital Products
Digital products include ebooks, PDF downloads, printable worksheets, tools, bundles, and any other electronically delivered content.
Digital products are generally non-refundable once the download link has been accessed or the file has been downloaded.
We will provide a refund or another appropriate remedy where required by law. We will also review refund requests for digital products in these situations:
- Technical failure - your download link does not work and we cannot resolve it within 48 hours after you report it.
- Duplicate charge - you were charged more than once for the same product due to a payment processing error.
- Product significantly not as described - the product you received materially differs from what was advertised at the time of purchase.
- Wrong file supplied - you received the wrong product file and we cannot provide the correct file within a reasonable time.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind after download, failure to read the product description, accidental purchase after download, or because the content was not the right fit for your personal taste.
EU and UK Customers - 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If you are located in the EU or UK, you may ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel certain purchases. For digital content, this right may be lost once digital delivery begins if you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that cancellation rights are lost at that point. The checkout or product delivery flow should make that consent clear where required.
2. Bundle Orders
For digital bundles, the same digital product policy applies. If one file or link in the bundle fails, tell us which file is affected and we will try to restore access or provide the correct file before treating it as a refund issue.
3. Hardcopy Waitlist
The hardcopy waitlist is not a purchase. Joining the waitlist does not charge you, reserve stock, or create a physical product order. When physical products are available, separate physical product, shipping, delivery, and refund terms will apply.
4. How to Request Help or a Refund
Email team@brutallittlebooks.com with:
- your order number,
- the email address used at checkout,
- the product name, and
- a short description of the issue, including any screenshots if the download is failing.
We aim to respond within 2 business days.
5. How Refunds Are Processed
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
- Refunds are initiated within 2 business days after approval.
- Your bank, card provider, or payment provider may take an additional 5-10 business days to show the refund.
- You will receive a confirmation email when the refund has been initiated.
